In the pool.
We slept reasonably wel in the Bann Pantai Resort in Cha-am. We wake up around seven o'clock.
After Pia has done her exercises, we will have breakfast in the restaurant.
There we see the cook again that we have known in this hotel for years.
Breakfast is fine, although there is a little less choice than in previous years.
Fortunately the coffee tastes good.
Our plan is to walk a while after breakfast, then swim and finally shower.
Pia has no hat, we buy that first.
Above the sea there is a very dark cloud, but nevertheless we dare to go for a walk.
It remains dry, the wind gets very hard, and in the distance, towards Hua Hin we can see the
rain.
On the way back, close to the hotel, it is going to rain a bit, but luckily we don't get
wet.
Because we feel like coffee, we walk to Café Amazon along the beach where we both take an
espresso.
On the way back Pia goes to swim in the sea.
We want to rent a beach chair for an hour, but that is not possible, we can only rent one
for a half or a whole day.
A pity for the owners, we don't do that.
In the hotel we go swimming in the pool, we are the only ones.
After showering, it has been one o'clock, we walk to Max Restaurant, which has good revieuws
on Google Maps.
We order two dishes, Pad Thai and fried fish.
It tastes reasonable but not great, too bad.
The rest of the afternoon we sit on our terrace at the hotel.
The hotel that has run empty this morning is slowly getting new guests.
In the evening, around six thirty, we walk to Restaurant A-Roy, that we also visited on our previous journey. It is very busy, but we get a table. We take two Thai dishes, and those flavor better than expected. And it's even cheaper than lunch.
